While the Raven office may seem a bit quieter than usual with most of the team now working remotely, there is plenty of excitement brewing in the warehouse where preparations are being made for the unveiling of our new technical training facility!
With support from our vendors, we will be installing a 30 HP Powermaster firetube boiler fitted with a Weishaupt WM-G10 burner and the W-FM50 (LMV3) linkage-less digital combustion management system. The system will be installed by T’N’T Energy Systems along with Grundfos MAGNA3 and UPS pumps, and SecureSeal flue venting. In addition, we will have portable classroom trainer kits available for the Siemens LMV3 linkage-less control systems and RWF55 process controllers.
This new technical training facility will allow us to provide hands-on technical training and live product demonstrations right here in the Lower Mainland. Over the past few years, we have received consistent feedback from service technicians, plant operators, and engineers indicating that technical training for Siemens/Weishaupt linkage-less (parallel positioning) burner controls within BC is in high demand.
The LMV platform is also found on most current Fulton boilers. As these types of controls are becoming increasingly common throughout industry, Raven is committed to providing the resources needed to ensure that personnel fully understand the extent of their capabilities and can work on them independently with confidence. Our local training facility will greatly improve accessibility to technical education for technicians across BC, and it will allow us to demonstrate our products to prospective clients and consultants in a convenient setting.
Construction will begin during the summer, and we expect the first training sessions to become available in September 2020. Please contact us at [email protected] to get on the wait-list for upcoming training sessions. We look forward to hearing from you!
