Niles Steel Tank maintains a wide selection of standard large-volume water storage tanks in inventory and available for quick ship. All tanks are vertical with sizes ranging from 210 gallon up to 1000 gallons. Please refer to our submittal pages for details on tank fitting configuration.
Standard features:
- Designed for storage of potable water – All tanks are constructed and certified in accordance with ASME IV, Part HLW for 125 PSI (862 kPa).
- Ultonium® Glass Lining with Microban® – Applied to the interior surface of the steel for superior protection against corrosion. Microban® antimicrobial technology helps prevent the growth of bacteria, mold and mildew on the surface of the tank lining.
- Manways required on all tanks over 36” diameter (reflected in pricing) and are optional on 36” diameter and below.
- Hydro-tested and independently inspected per ASME regulations.
- Magnesium anode rods for protection and longer service life.
- One 3/4″ Aquastat NPT fittings located in the lower part of the tank.
- Skirt height: 4” on 30″ to 48″ diameter, 6″ on 54″ to 84″ diameter (allows for easier access to areas under the tank).
- Lifting lugs
- Red oxide primer is standard on all tanks. Top-coat insulation and finish coats are also available.
- Five-year limited warranty on steel tank covers tank failure resulting from defects in materials and workmanship.
- Ten-year limited warranty on steel tank with double glass lining covers tank failure resulting from defects in materials and workmanship. Double glass lining is not an inventory item (built upon request).
