Job Summary:
Raven Supply is seeking a motivated, well-organized, and collaborative professional to join our team as a Venting Account Manager. This role is responsible for overseeing the sales of our venting product lines by leveraging technical expertise, developing strong contractor relationships, providing solutions-driven support to assigned accounts, and enhancing client retention through exceptional service and in-depth product knowledge.
Additionally, as a member of our Leadership Team, the Venting Account Manager will play an active role in implementing EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) while balancing in-office responsibilities with on-the-road client engagement. Raven Supply services customers across British Columbia and the Yukon.
The ideal candidate will have: prior experience in HVAC or a related industry, a proven track record of exceeding performance goals, strong technical aptitude, a reliable vehicle for customer visits, and a strong alignment with Raven Supply’s Core Values:

Core Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, contractors, and suppliers.
- Regularly visit customers’ offices and job sites, serving as a professional and positive representative of Raven Supply.
- Build strong knowledge of our products and recommend solutions from Raven’s exclusive product lines.
- Proactively follow up on outstanding bids/quotes, and leverage insights to secure sales and identify growth opportunities.
- Address customer concerns and resolve disputes.
- Ensure the venting team meets or exceeds service expectations of customers.
- Provide support and guidance to the venting team, ensuring effective communication, collaboration, and performance management to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
- Assist in setting short- and long-term goals for the department.
- Provide detailed reports, including monthly sales projections, sales call summaries, and updates on large projects.
- Assist with providing customers accurate quotations as backup support when needed.
- Participate in improving internal processes to enhance operational efficiency.
Day-to-Day Activities:
Morning: Review priorities for customer follow-ups, project statuses, and new bid opportunities. On road days, plan site visits and customer meetings, ensuring all materials are prepared. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, contractors, and suppliers.
Mid-day: Attend the mandatory weekly meetings (two per week) or conduct site visits on road days while handling technical product inquiries. Address customer concerns and resolve disputes as needed.
Afternoon: Prepare project quotes, update reports, and finalize communications with customers or suppliers. On road days, follow up on meetings, document key takeaways, and address immediate customer needs. Proactively follow up on outstanding bids/quotes to secure sales and identify growth opportunities.
End of Day: Review team performance, ensure outstanding tasks are addressed, strengthen your knowledge about our products and summarize site visit insights to prepare for the next day’s activities. On road days, provide support and guidance to the venting team remotely, and participate in improving internal processes to enhance operational efficiency. Assist in setting short- and long-term goals for the department, and provide detailed reports, including monthly sales projections and updates on large projects.
The Venting Account Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of Raven Supply’s venting product sales. By fostering strong customer relationships and delivering on commitments, this position drives revenue growth, supports the team’s success, and upholds Raven’s reputation for excellence in the HVAC industry.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of sales management experience with a track record of driving performance & team success.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in HVAC, mechanical systems, or a related industry, with a solid understanding of technical products and applications.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers, contractors, and suppliers.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage and resolve conflicts effectively.
- Proven ability to secure sales, analyze trends, and identify growth opportunities.
- Experience in supporting and guiding teams effectively.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic and changing environment.
Salary and Benefits:
- Salary: $65,000 – $75,000 per year
- Expected Commission: $15,000 per year

- Location: Surrey, BC (Split schedule with 50% time in the office and 50% on the road.)
