Venting Estimator Job Description:
Raven Supply is seeking a proactive, sprouting professional to join our team as a Venting Estimator.
Building a successful business by putting the H in HVAC, our team is proving heating industry expertise with rapid responses.
The Venting Estimator is responsible for preparing competitive & accurate proposals, managing/reviewing bids with contractors while handling customer interactions. Also, providing support to the sales team while maintaining project & marketing databases.
Accountabilities:
- Competitive and accurate proposal preparation for all incoming projects
- Product Knowledge and Application
- Bidding to all contractors on a job
- Customer interaction and responsiveness
- Site Visits
- Search, review, and filter all bid requests from contractors and bid sites
- Review specifications to confirm companies’ interest in bidding
- Download & prepare project documentation
- Provide project information to the sales team during weekly sales meetings
- Maintaining project & Marketing material database
This position is ideal for a candidate with a technical or engineering background, with strong organization/time management skills, attention to detail, and experience in proposal preparation and bidding processes. They will have 1 direct report and must be able to work in a collaborative environment.

The position is primarily in-office, travel to customers and sites will be required; having your own vehicle is an asset. Raven Supply has customers across BC & the Yukon.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 – $60,000.00 Annual Salary

Ability to commute/relocate:
- Surrey, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
- Personal vehicle is required.
Experience:
- 1 year proposal & bid preparation experience or similar
- 2 years mechanical experience or similar
